INGREDIENTS:
4 chicken thighs, skin on and bone-in
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup plain yoghurt
Hot Boss Hot sauce (to taste)
1 lemon, juice only
METHOD:
Prep Your Chicken Thighs:
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Season the Chicken:
In a large bowl, add the chicken thighs.
Sprinkle the garlic powder, ground black pepper, and salt over the chicken thighs.
Marinate with Yoghurt and Hot Boss Hot Sauce:
Add the plain yoghurt to the bowl.
Pour in the Hot Boss Hot sauce. The amount you add depends on your spice preference—the more sauce, the spicier the chicken will be.
Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the mixture.
Mix everything well to ensure the chicken thighs are evenly coated with the marinade.
Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes. For best results, cover and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
Air Fry the Chicken:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place the marinated chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Cook for 20 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
The chicken should be golden brown and have an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) when done.
Serve:
Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
Serve the Hot Boss Turkish Chicken with a fresh salad on the side.
