INGREDIENTS:
4 x plain sausages
4 oz frozen peas
1 x medium onion
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2-3 tbsp Hot Boss Smokey Hot Sauce
Puff Pastry Sheet
Egg
Salt and Pepper to taste
METHOD:
1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.
2. Heat oil in a pan
3. Finely chop the onion and sauté until golden brown.
4. Add 2-3 tbsp of the Hot Boss Smokey Hot Sauce, the frozen peas, salt and pepper and sauté for 3-4 minutes until combined well with no liquid remaining.
5. Set aside to cool down to room temperature.
6. Unroll the puff pastry sheet and add the pea/onion mixture and then the sausage on top and finish with another drizzle of smokey sauce.
7. Roll the pastry until the sausage is fully covered in the pastry and pinch the ends to ensure the filling doesn’t spill out.
8. Repeat again for the other 3 sausages.
9. Grease an oven dish and add the 4 sausage rolls and place into the oven.
10. Brush the rolls with a beaten egg.
11. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
12. Take out the oven once golden and let them cool.
13. Optional to serve with a dollop of Hot Boss Smokey Hot Sauce on the side.
