A classic BLT — turned all the way up.

Say goodbye to your standard bacon sarnie. This is the Hot Boss BLT, and it’s bringing the heat with crispy bacon glazed in Hot Boss Smokey Sauce, creamy mozzarella, fresh tomato slices, peppery rocket, and crusty toasted ciabatta.

It’s the kind of sandwich that doesn’t mess around: smoky, melty, spicy, and ridiculously satisfying. Perfect for lunch, brunch, or whenever hunger hits hard and only a proper boss bite will do.

INGREDIENTS:

2 slices ciabatta bread (or 1 ciabatta roll, halved)
3–4 strips streaky bacon
1–2 tsp Hot Boss Smokey Sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
2–3 slices fresh tomato
1 handful rocket leaves
2–3 slices mozzarella cheese
Butter or olive oil (for toasting)

METHOD:

1. Cook the bacon:
Fry or grill the bacon until crisp. In the last minute of cooking, brush with Hot Boss Smokey Sauce and let it caramelise slightly. Set aside.
2. Toast the ciabatta:
Slice and lightly butter (or drizzle with olive oil). Toast or grill cut-side down until golden and crisp.
3. Build your BLT:
Start with the mozzarella on the bottom half (it’ll warm and soften slightly from the toast), then layer on the bacon, tomato slices, rocket, and a cheeky drizzle of extra Hot Boss Sauce.
4. Top it off & serve:
Add the top half of the ciabatta, press gently, slice in half (if you can wait), and dig in.
Hot Boss Tips:
Add avocado for extra creamy vibes
Swap mozzarella for cheddar if you like it sharper
Press it in a sandwich press for the ultimate boss melt.
