INGREDIENTS:
8 beef or pork hotdogs 1/4 cup Hot Boss Hot sauce 1/4 cup Hot Boss Smokey sauce 1/4 cup Hot Boss Original sauce 1 tablespoon olive oil Hotdog buns Optional toppings: diced onions, shredded cheese, pickles, mustard, ketchup, relish
METHOD:
Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine the Hot Boss Hot sauce, Hot Boss Smokey sauce, and Hot Boss Original sauce. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and mix well. Marinate the Hotdogs: Add the hotdogs to the bowl with the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and let the hotdogs marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. For best results, marinate for a few hours or overnight. Prepare the BBQ: Preheat your BBQ to medium-high heat. Grill the Hotdogs: Once the BBQ is hot, place the marinated hotdogs on the grill. Grill the hotdogs for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are heated through and have a nice char on the outside. Brush the hotdogs with any remaining marinade during the grilling process to enhance the flavour. Toast the Buns (Optional): If desired, place the hotdog buns on the grill for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking to toast them lightly. Assemble the Hotdogs: Place each grilled hotdog in a bun. Add your favourite toppings, such as diced onions, shredded cheese, pickles, sauerkraut, mustard, ketchup, and relish. Serve: Serve the hotdogs immediately, hot off the grill. .
